Perry adds more Gold to USA medal haul
Michelle Perry took the victory podium to listen to The Star Spangled Banner after her second straight world title in the 100-metre hurdles.
The last hurdle was followed by a lunge at the line for a win proving for the second time this championships that its never over till its over in the 100m.
"It was amazing for the first 60 metres and a fight to the end" said Perry.
Her 12.46 seconds headed 2003 champion Perdita Felicien of Canada by just .03 seconds, the same margin of victory that was awarded in the womens 100m sprint; Delloreen Ennis-London of Jamaica took bronze 12.50.
